Workflow / Field services / Expert knowledge

An expert answers once. The knowledge goes further.

Follow a field question from the technician to the right expert—and back into intelligence the operation can use again.

The work today

Help the person in the field reach a useful, verified answer while retaining the context that will make it valuable to the next person.

A technician meets an unfamiliar symptom. Somewhere in the company, someone has seen something like it before. Reaching that person can take longer than the answer itself, and the explanation often disappears into a call once the immediate job is done.

Illustrative workflow

This example explains how Humantic can be configured. It is not a customer case study or a statement of measured results.

Start with the question in context.

The technician describes the symptom through a connected work channel. The asset, current observations, and available images give Humantic a starting point. Relevant history and approved reference material can be brought into the conversation.

If those sources do not settle the question, uncertainty remains explicit. Retrieving a similar record is helpful context, not proof that the same diagnosis applies.

Bring the expert the story.

Humantic routes the unresolved question to an appropriate expert with the available background. The expert can see what has been observed and what is still unknown before asking for additional detail.

This makes the handoff more useful for both people. The technician does not have to repeat the account through a chain of calls, and the expert can focus on the part that needs experience.

Keep the explanation, not just the answer.

An expert may recognize which detail changes the interpretation or why an apparently similar situation is different. That reasoning is valuable. It helps establish the circumstances in which the answer should be used.

The verified explanation stays connected to the original situation and source. It can be corrected or extended as new information appears.

Help again without pretending every job is the same.

When a later technician asks a related question, the earlier explanation can inform the answer. The supporting context makes it possible to assess whether it applies.

Where the new circumstances differ, Humantic can bring an expert back into the loop. Capturing experience should make judgment easier to access—not make it disappear from the process.

The foundations

What the workflow needs.

  • A connected field communication channel
  • Relevant service records and approved guidance
  • The asset and symptom context
  • Experts with defined areas of responsibility
The human role

What a person reviews.

  • Whether the question has enough context
  • Who is qualified to answer
  • The circumstances in which the explanation applies
  • What is verified and what remains uncertain
